When do I get paid after a brand approves my content?
Creator
On Pact Brief, payment releases after the brand confirms your content is live — not just when they approve it. Once the brand confirms, funds are released and typically arrive in your connected Stripe account within 2 business days.

On the core Pact platform, payment is released when the brand approves your submitted content and the campaign is marked complete. Same timeline — 2 business days after release.

If you haven't connected Stripe, you'll need to do that in Settings → Payments before any payout can be sent.

If you're on invoice terms (Net 14, 30, 60, or 90), payment is raised as an invoice once your content is confirmed live. Your payout follows within your agreed payment terms.
How does payment protection work?
All
When a campaign is created on Pact, the brand pays upfront. That payment is held securely by Pact and only released to the creator once the work is approved and delivered. Neither party can access the funds until the conditions are met.

This means creators are guaranteed payment for completed work, and brands only pay for content they're satisfied with. Pact acts as the trusted intermediary throughout.
What happens if a brand cancels after I've signed?
Creator
If a brand cancels a campaign after you've signed the contract, you're protected by Pact's kill fee policy. On Pact Brief, you'll receive 20% of the agreed fee as compensation. On Pact Link invoice track, you'll receive 8% of the agreed fee. The kill fee is paid automatically within 2 business days. The brand is required to provide a reason for cancellation, which is shared with you. The Pact fee (7%) is non-refundable to the brand on cancellation.
How do I send a brief to a creator using Pact Brief?
Brand
Visit brief.mypact.co — no account needed. Fill in the campaign details, upload an optional brief PDF, set the agreed fee, and pay via Stripe. You'll get a unique link to send to the creator.

The creator signs a lightweight contract, uploads their content, and you review it at your review link. Once you're happy, you approve — the creator posts, submits their live link, and you confirm it's live to release payment. The whole flow is managed by Pact.
What is the Pact fee and what does it cover?
All
Pact charges a 7% platform fee on Pact Brief campaigns (deducted from creator payout). On the core platform, the fee varies by subscription tier.

The fee covers: payment protection infrastructure, legally binding contracts, automated payouts, content storage, and the full campaign management flow. There's also a Stripe processing fee of ~1.4% + 30p which is also deducted from the creator payout and shown transparently in all fee breakdowns.
How do I add creators to my agency roster?
Agency
From your agency dashboard, go to Creators → Invite Creator. You'll get a unique invite link to send to the creator. Once they accept and connect their Pact account to your agency, they'll appear in your roster.

You can set a commission rate per creator and manage their campaigns from your agency portal. Creators remain in control of their own profiles — your agency gets oversight and earnings management.
My profile isn't showing up in search. Why?
Creator
Creator profiles are only publicly discoverable once all onboarding steps are complete. Check your dashboard for the onboarding progress widget — if any steps are incomplete (photo, bio, socials, rates, preferences, Stripe), your profile won't be visible to brands.

If all steps are complete and your profile still isn't showing, it may be pending operator review. Pact reviews all new creator applications — you'll receive an email once approved.
What is Pact Score?
Creator
Pact Score is your trust and performance rating on the platform. It tells brands how reliable and professional you are to work with — and the higher your score, the more likely you are to be shortlisted for campaigns.

When does it unlock?
Pact Score unlocks after you complete 3 campaigns on the platform. Until then, your score shows as pending — brands can still book you, but your score won't be visible on your profile yet.

How is it calculated?
Your Pact Score is based on three factors, weighted and combined into a single score out of 100: Delivery rate (50%) — did you complete and deliver campaigns on time? Response rate (30%) — how quickly and consistently you respond to brand messages and requests. Contract compliance (20%) — whether you followed the agreed contract terms.

Why does it matter?
Brands use Pact Score to shortlist creators when browsing the platform. A higher score means your profile ranks higher in brand searches and you're more likely to receive inbound inquiries. Pro members with strong Pact Scores also get priority access to brand opportunities as they launch on Pact.

How do I improve my score?
Complete every campaign you accept. Submit content on time or communicate early if you need an extension. Keep communication professional and responsive. Avoid cancellations — especially after contracts are signed.
What is Pact Score for brands?
Brand
Pact Score is your trust and performance rating on the platform. It signals to creators that you're a reliable brand to work with — and the higher your score, the more likely top creators are to respond to your offers and accept your campaigns.

When does it unlock?
Pact Score unlocks after you complete 3 campaigns on the platform. Until then, your score shows as pending — creators can still pitch to and accept work from you, but your score won't be visible until enough campaigns have run.

How is it calculated?
Your Pact Score is based on three factors, weighted and combined into a single score out of 100: On-time payment rate (50%) — did you release payment within 7 days of approving creator content? Pitch response rate (30%) — how consistently you respond to creator pitches on your campaigns (accepting or rejecting, rather than leaving them in limbo). Low cancellation rate (20%) — whether you avoid cancelling campaigns after creators have started work.

Why does it matter?
Creators see your Pact Score when reviewing inquiries and pitches. A higher score signals you're a trusted brand to work with — meaning faster pitch response from top creators and stronger inbound interest in your campaigns.

How do I improve my score?
Release payment promptly after approving creator content — within 7 days keeps you on-track. Respond to every pitch on your campaigns, even when declining; silence hurts your score. Avoid cancelling campaigns once a contract is signed.
